Philanthropy through Partnership Not just a slogan Building partnerships is a key policy of the Rashi Foundation. By cooperating with diverse partners, we aim to achieve a broader scope and deeper impact on education and welfare services in Israel.
We also aim to facilitate the social investments of other philanthropies, with an emphasis on those that are new to giving to Israel. Every partnership focuses on making measurable and sustainable improvements in infrastructures and services.
We coordinate and co-fund with the government at national and local levels, including operating programs under government tender, where we can provide best-quality service without regard for profit. We engage the government from the start, and design programs to be replicable and viable for the government to adopt, fund and expand on a wide scale.
Rashi cooperates with the following government ministries and authorities: The Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Welfare, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Housing and Construction, Israel Lands Administration, National Insurance Institute, Keren Shalem, Council for Higher Education, Israel Anti-Drug Authority, and numerous local and regional authorities
Most of our activity in Rashi is based on pooling resources with family foundations and philanthropic organizations from Israel and abroad. We share our knowledge and experience of funding and operating programs in Israel, help to identify other financial and professional resources, make efforts to attract government funding and resources, provide back office services, and put our construction capability at the disposal of partners.
Through knitting productive partnerships, Rashi aims to increase the number of its beneficiaries, create fertile ground for further cooperation with the Israeli government and establish standards of excellence in education and welfare provision within Israeli society.
