From its inception, the Rashi Foundation, focused heavily on the southern region of Israel, with an emphasis on Be'er Sheva, targeting children, youth and special-needs populations. Today, we operate, fund and supervise programs in areas from Ashdod to Eilat.
The Southern Region office of the Rashi Foundation is located in Be'er Sheva at Beit Yatziv Educational Campus, under the direction of Albert Assaf. The responsibility of the southern office is the overseeing of Rashi's national programs as they are implemented in the south as well as initiation and development of services to meet specific needs in the region.
