Operating Arms

Starting in 2004, the Rashi Foundation has began to transfer the direct operation of programs to subsidiary associations which act as its operating arms. This development was both a response to the growing trend of privatization of government services, and a natural evolution of the Foundation from "check-book philanthropy" to a more engaged involvement in the running of social programs. The structure of the Foundation, with a Head Office in Ben Shemen and subsidiaries in the regional offices, enables us to keep highly attuned to the field and be responsive to its needs.
Rashi has now 7 operating arms specializing in different fields of activity or regions.
